Villa Cappuccina is an elegant historic estate set in the peaceful countryside just a few kilometres from the medieval town of Gubbio, in the heart of Umbria.
Originally built in the late 18th century as the summer residence of a noble family, the villa has been carefully restored while preserving its original character. Frescoes, decorative stucco work and elegant reception rooms create a refined atmosphere, while the extensive private park and surrounding Umbrian landscape provide privacy and tranquillity.
The estate is particularly suitable for large families, groups of friends, private retreats and special celebrations, accommodating up to 40 guests between the main villa and three independent stone residences located within the grounds.
The main villa features 10 individually decorated bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, together with spacious living areas, a dining room, reading room, TV room and fully equipped kitchen.
A short walk from the main residence lies an enchanting 14th-century stone hamlet, composed of three independent apartments: Frate Sole, Sorella Luna and Frate Lupo. Surrounded by gardens and with direct access to the outdoor swimming pool, the Casali provide additional privacy while remaining close to the main villa.
The combination of historic architecture, generous outdoor spaces and independent accommodation makes Villa Cappuccina an exceptional base from which to discover Gubbio and some of Umbria’s most celebrated destinations, including Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto, Todi and Orvieto.

Located approximately 100 metres from the main villa, the Casali form a small restored medieval stone hamlet dating back to approximately the 14th century.
Each residence is independent and opens directly onto the shared garden and swimming pool area.

Villa Cappuccina is located in the countryside surrounding Gubbio, one of Umbria’s best-preserved medieval towns.
The estate lies close to the slopes of Monte Foce / Monte Faeto and the historic Franciscan trails, surrounded by rolling hills, woodland and the distinctive landscapes of central Umbria.
Its position also makes the villa an excellent starting point for discovering some of central Italy’s most important historic destinations, including Assisi, Perugia, Todi, Spoleto and Orvieto.
