Welcome to Cedella on the Beach, a luxury 7 bedroom beachfront villa located on its own private beach in Discovery Bay in Jamaica.

Cedella is one of the most luxurious and stunning Jamaica Villa Retreats and offers guests the most idyllic location with breath-taking ocean views. The villa comes with 7 luxury bedrooms making it ideal for a large family gathering or celebration.

From the spacious veranda and pool, a barefoot stroll leads down a soft lawn to the 70’ white sandy beach, clear turquoise water and waterfront gazebo with suspended canvas swings.

In villa Cedella, you will find yourself in a glamorous tranquil villa as you relish in the relaxing environment of lily ponds, fountains and gardens complimented by orchids that grace the exterior. The restful interiors are a unique blend of teak, bamboo and stone from Jamaica, China and Indonesia which offers an immaculately tasteful design complimented by more orchids which is a delicate detail in every room.

The exquisite Cedella compound consists of the Main Villa linked to The Annex by a magnificently landscaped walkway through an interior courtyard. This most amazing feat of architecture makes it a perfect location for entertaining family and friends.

Indulge and pamper your senses in Cedella’s floating spa sitting on a tropical lily pond while surrounded by soothing waterfalls. Spa treatments are available at your own request. Alongside the magical Spa is an air-conditioned gym with Precor Elliptical, treadmill, free weights, fitness DVD’s, balls, mats and music. Just a few steps away is Cedella’s very own Novacrylic surface tennis court, lit for night play (Racquets are provided). Cedella also boasts it own private beach with the loveliest crystal clear turquoise bodies of water, making it ideal for watersports (Kayaks, sailfish and snorkel gear are complimentary).

STAFF

When you stay at Cedella,  you will be personally cared for by your own Butler, 2 chefs, housekeepers, a laundress and a gardener all of whom will cater to your every need. Make the perfect start to your day with a breakfast buffet on the veranda with the most delicious freshly-squeezed orange juice and fresh-ground Blue Mountain coffee, fresh fruit, bagels and muffins… once you have satisfied your taste buds at the buffet you may follow this with a full breakfast when requested. Enjoy outstanding lunches and unforgettable candlelight al fresco dining on the veranda or exclusive waterfront deck. Each evening at the veranda bar savour the cocktail hour canapés and hors d’oeuvres. The chef would also be delighted to plan a torchlight beach party barbeque with fresh fish or lobster, chicken, chops and steaks served straight from the sizzling outdoor coal grill. Because cuisine at Cedella is extraordinary, the typical grocery budget here is $60-$70 per adult per day, $25 per child per day.

ACCOMMODATION

All seven bedrooms have hair dryers, televisions, telephones and intercoms to the bar, kitchen, staff quarters and other guest rooms. Both the gym and the spa are air conditioned.

AREA DESCRIPTION

Water sports are available just a few minutes drive around the bay. In lively Ocho Rios 30 minutes from Cedella are night life, restaurants, shops, open-air craft markets, more water sports, rafting, jitney tours of a working plantation and dramatic Dunn’s River Falls. Driving time from the Montego Bay airport to Cedella is approximately 60 minutes… well worth the drive along a gorgeous seascape. The eastern shore of Discovery Bay with its lovely villas and cottages is colloquially known as “The Riviera”… one of Jamaica’s treasures.

Jamaica which is the third largest island in the Caribbean is a wonderful luxuriant tropical paradise. As well as having great beaches, a vibrant culture, incredible scenery, lively music and wonderful food, Jamaica is without a doubt the friendliest of all the Caribbean islands.

Jamaica is crossed by a range of mountain in the centre of the island reaching 2256m in height at the Blue Mountain peak. The Blue Mountains span some twenty eight miles and they dominate the eastern side of Jamaica and it is here that the famous Blue Mountain Coffee beans are grown.

There is great scenery and walking in the Blue Mountain however most visitors to Jamaica come for the wonderful weather and the beaches. There are many other activities to be enjoyed such as a walk up the incredible waterfall at Dune’s River, historical tours of some wonderful old plantations houses and walking around Shaw’s Botanical Gardens. Then there is the wonderful Jamaican food to be enjoyed which is a fusion of different cultures and so often can be enjoyed to the sounds of distinctive and eclectic music which is a great tradition in Jamaica started by the King of Reggae Bob Marley.

You can make 10 trips to Jamaica and visit 10 different places and each time you will return home with a kaleidoscope of different memories; the beaches, the sea, the reefs, the dolphins, the cliffs, the rivers, the horses, the mountain and the waterfalls. Oh and not to forget the Rum!
