Villa Marina is set on a green hill in the small hamlet of Mommio Castello which produces some of the finest olive oil in the region.
Elegantly spread out over two floors, Villa Marina is surrounded by an extensive and enchanting well-kept garden with terracing on several levels plus a little cottage facing the Versilia’s sea.
The enchanting and unspoiled town of Lucca is only twenty minutes away. Here, one can enjoy strolling along the wide avenues along the top of the ancient city walls or in the narrow streets with their ninety-nine churches, browsing among the old-fashioned little boutiques, sipping a cappuccino at one of the many bars, tasting the best ice cream and visiting the richly endowed museums. Surrounding Lucca is the numerous famous historic villas with their magnificent gardens, some of which are open to the public and well worth visiting. There is also the magical town of Pietrasanta where the famous white marble comes from and of course, for visitors wishing to go to the beach then there is the always fashionable Forte di Marmi with its excellent seafood restaurants.
